Stepping Stones Pre-School Playgroup
is a friendly community playgroup based in the heart of Fordingbridge at the Avonway Centre.
We work with the parents/carers to provide a happy, caring environment for pre-school children.
We provide a full, interesting and varied educational programme.
The curriculum is developed around the Early years foundation stage.
To maintain our high standards, all staff are encouraged to attend regular training sessions. Their current qualifications are on the notice board.
A high staff to child ratio allows time for individual attention as well as group play and learning. We have passed all OFSTED inspections and are eligible to accept funding from the Local Education Authority for all eligible 3 and 4 year olds. Funding for a free place starts the term after the childs’ 3rd birthday.
Stepping Stones has also attained the Pre-school Learning Alliance Accreditation certificate, which is awarded for a high standard of education and good practice.
