Your child will be allocated a keyworker. Their role is to help ensure that every child’s care is tailored to meet their individual need to help the child become familiar with the setting, offer a settled relationship for the child and build a relationship with their parents. They will also have overall responsibility for your child’s online learning journal (see section on Tapestry). They will carry out half termly tracking assessments on your child (in line with the Statutory Framework) and create next steps every half term which provides early learning goals for your children to work through and achieve. We have an open-door policy where you can meet with your child’s keyworker to discuss any issues at any time.
